Today's youth are more stressed then ever before. We are what Dr. Kristen Race calls,"A generation of stressed-out parents raising a generation of stressed-out kids." And, almost daily, we ask kids to focus, concentrate and pay attention, but we rarely teach them how.
Mindfulness can help.
Just Be Mindful offers in-school and after-school programs, as well as private sessions, to teach evidence-based mindfulness to youth in grades K-12.
Our program utilizes curriculum from Mindful Schools, Mindful Life and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction for Teens (MBSR-T) including lessons on:
