Do you ever feel like parenting is a curse, rather than a blessing? Have you ever "lost it" with your kids, and wished later you didn't? Do you wish you had more tools in your toolbox to help your kids with their own stress and anxiety?
This 2-hour workshop will give parents concrete and specific knowledge about mindfulness and how it can help us better connect to ourselves and to our kids. We will cover the brain science behind mindfulness and why it's being taught in schools all over the world to help youth improve focus and attention, impulse control and emotional regulation. After attending this workshop, parents will walk away with specifics on how to start a simple and daily personal mindfulness practice, and will learn 10 easy and meaningful mindfulness practices to share with their kids and family.
